Further Abuse for the Victims of the Catholic Church

A friend of mine just sent me this article on Facebook. It is shocking, and speaks for itself. In fact, I find it downright infuriating. Here it is;

  1. Thanks for this. I'll spread the word!

  2. This article is beyond all reason and comprehension. I cannot wrap my head around this. Totally pissed me off.

  3. I am suspecting a retraction, or some type of damage control will ensue in the following days. Hate to say it, but he may be a loner on this one. The church may have become smart enough to know how damaging this is. Nevertheless, the "respect" that they display for their victims is astounding, and part of a large systemic issue.

  4. It's like they are asking the parishoners to pay for the privilege of being abused.

  5. I know, it is almost unreal. Clearly, a man who does not have any insight at all about what the victims have experienced.

  6. You might want to head over to our friends blog. Right now, he is tackling the gay problem in Nazi Germany. Earlier, he was looking for someone to help him understand the difference between "anti gay" and "pro family". I really was going to, but I could just not bring myself to do it. Maybe that is best left with you.

  7. I'd love to set him straight, on a lot of things (although if he's gay, I'd rather he come to accept who he is) (and, BTW, I love how he rationalizes his racism by claiming the equivalent of "I have black friends") but remember, he couldn't handle me and had to axe me.

Of course, someone posted quite a few links as well as something from Wikipedia. He zeroed in on Wikipedia, dismissed it out of hand, and ignored the rest of the links. That's our JD.

  8. He himself is the biggest user of Wikipedia, and he recently admitted that he would not admit to it, even though he uses it himself. What do you mean by axe?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Gave me the axe = banned me.

Yeah, I've caught him using Wikipedia before too, and then he turns around and claims that it's better to not cite anything than to cite Wikipedia. What he really means is that you shouldn't cite anything that he disagrees with, because it's wrong, wrong, wrong, without him even having to look at it.

  10. How do you ban someone? You mean, that you are not allowed to post anything on his sight. You should consider that a trophy. Honestly, he cannot handle you because he gets nowhere with you.

He really wants to say that the Nazis were predominantly gay. A new extremist pamphlet has opened his eyes. I told him that it was to be expected that some of the army was gay, because statistically, it is predicted that 1 in 10 people are gay, and that the army was 420000 strong before the war. So, of course, there would be gay people, as there is in all factions of society.

But, no, he really likes the idea of gay people killing each other. And, this really lends to how to fear the gay people because they are all Nazis now and intent on destroying their family.

  11. Check out what Ginx so kindly posted. This is unreal too.

  12. I haven't actually tried to post there, but he did say that I'm banned and made it clear that he does not want me to post. I assume that if I can post, he'll simply delete it. And, yeah, it's sort of a badge of honor considering that he had to make up lies in order to try and justify it.

I'm also both amused and disgusted at his insistence on applying Godwin's law to gays. He's a despicable human being for sure, especially once you consider his apologetics in support of the Ugandan Law that he posted in a different thread. He's racist, homophobic, sexist, and quite a few other things as well, all wrapped up into one paranoid individual. He's also wholly ignorant of history, science, and politics, yet thinks he's a world-class expert on all three combined.

  13. That link is so wrong and so messed up, it's hard to find the words. I find myself just hoping it's a Poe.

  14. Its not....I checked her other stuff. Way to similar, very consistent. I have been debating on commenting on her stuff. Quite frankly, I do not know if I should fear her or pity her. She is scary.

That is the key. World class expert. The other day, he said that he had a history professor inside of him. That was fun.

  15. Looks like Ginx is getting banned now.... It is all a matter of time before we are all banned. His puffery is being dismantled, and he cant handle it.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I have a feeling that the only thing Ginx could say right now and not be banned is, "Sorry JD, but you are not racist in any way." Of course, that would be a lie, but any defense Ginx puts up will be summarily erased and Ginx will be banned.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I bet he supports state's rights too, seeing as how he's such a good little Rethuglican.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow... That was scary. Up there with that blog. Incredible. So grateful to be Canadian.

  19. You know, noticed another funny thing. JD allows Marcus to basically spew white power all over his blog, and he does not ban him. Now, he has banned you because you pushed him too hard, and Ginx for calling him out on the underlying biases that he has that has enabled him to even consider such idiotic ideas. Insane.

    ReplyDelete
  20. He doesn't really disagree all that much with Marcus, and besides, at least Marcus believes in god.

    ReplyDelete
  21. At JD.

In case you missed it, his latest deleted comment was something like this:

"Oh you did not just f***ing delete my posts."
[Ginx didn't censor himself though, that's my addition]

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yeah, I saw that. Now, JD has a good one. Because the government is imposing regulation on sodium content on food, he is comparing it to the Nazis trying to regulate foods. That whole hillbilly paranoia is really coming out.

    ReplyDelete
  23. His whole blog has turned into one big Godwin's Law site.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I know.... He lacks the capacity to understand two things. 1. How insensitive and cruel it is. And 2. It is irrelevant. You would think that he would have concerns about issues that are current, but he does not. Gay Nazis all the way. Because, that supports the Bush smokescreen of not allowing gay marriage, and continuing his "pro family" stance.

  25. The Rockin apologist has just addressed this subject in his most recent post Link

    ReplyDelete
  26. I read his link.... It was interesting, and some of what he said is relevant. But, I think that he is missing a key point here.

Many of the victims tried to legally prosecute their abusers and failed because the Church hid them, or ignored their claims. Many were forced to get civil settlements out of the issue because of this. It was the same thing with OJ Simpson. They tried legally and failed. Then, they got him on a civil claim. And the fact that the justice is given to them in terms of monetary funds is pretty irrelevant.

Nevertheless, what he said is fair.

  27. No JD, you still don't get it.

The catholic church is in the news because it's sensational. They get the bad press they do because they have loads of money, but pass on the costs of these lawsuits to the people who were affected by the abuse. Because they harbored and sheltered these abusers for years and years and years, and it went up to the highest levels. Because they thought and still think themselves above the law. Because they claim they have moral superiority with which to tell us what to do and how to think all the while showing that they don't have a clucking fue what is and is not moral. Because they are completely unrepentant for it and are still trying to cover things up and blame the victims.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Tell the Catholic Apologist GCT. I didnt write it

    ReplyDelete
  29. LOL.... There is more of the abuse from them in the media this week, more to come.

  30. JD is claiming that he has a degree in Political Science. Love that. His Nazi exploration continues. I think that he has deluded himself into believing that he is proving that Nazi's are on the political left. Funny stuff. At least he knows enough not to comment on this one, uses someone else cause he knows that there is no argument for this.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Nazis were politically left...I mean, just look at the logic here...

JD hates the left...JD says he hates Nazis...touchdown

JD says he stands for smaller government...JD says the Nazis were totalitarian, therefore they are opposed to JD's ideas of smaller government (because totalitarians are uniformly in favor of as large a government as possible)...touchdown

What more do you need? Read 'em and weep [sexist rejoinder end here]

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love the political science degree claim. Impossible.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Unless he got his poli sci degree from Liberty or something.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He is saying a university that seems accredited and feasible. East Stroudsberg. Does not make sense, but I guess that I really have no choice but to believe him.

    ReplyDelete
  35. He's probably one of those creationists that goes thru the motions to get the degree but doesn't learn a damned thing because he already knows that all he needs to know is in the bible.
